Turkuaz has some great food at reasonable prices but the service is quite spotty at times. We had the cold appetizer's plate for starters and then the sultan's plate as our main. Both items were good but the sultan's plate was definitely the center of attention (I mean, look at it)! The lamb was a tad bit chewy but the chicken was perfect. They were grilled well and the ambiance of this place was very nice as well. All in all, I would go back in general, especially with my parents as it's halal.

This meal is insane. Easy 5 stars. Service 5. Be sure to check in to get free Turkish tea. The meal was so satisfactory and delicious. I can't wait to come back. This is a place I would bring my parents. The bread is crispy and fluffy at the same time. The zucchini pancakes for an appetizer are a must. Insane flavor with a great yogurt sauce. The clay pot kebab is absolutely insane. Great lamb with lots of mushrooms. I like dipping my bread in leftover greasy sauce. We went for the kunefe for dessert. I never knew that could be like a dessert until now. So tasty. Crispy corn like flakes on top. Many Turks inside so you know it's good. This says it's $$ but it's quite expensive. Most entrees are $40. We were two people and we got all that for $40. They say tip is not expected.

Nicely decorated restaurant with two floors, great service and a bar for wine and beer. The only minor critique is the bathrooms are very small. We were a group of 4 for dinner and ordered the lamb pizza (lahmajoun), white bean salad, hummus, babaghanoush, zucchini pancakes, and grape leaves as starters. Everything was tasty, and we would order them again but the hummus and babaghanoush were a little bland while still enjoyable. The white bean salad was good, but very heavy on the onion and vinegar. The bread included with the dips was turkish bread and pita. The turkish bread was delicious, fluffy and crunchy on the outside. For entrees we got the turkish dumplings, lamb kofte (4 patties) and lamb shish kebab (6 pieces). Each was cooked perfectly and nicely spiced and we would definitely eat them each again. The rice was delicious while the salad on the entree plates was a bit too salty. We had the fresh mint tea for dessert (2 pots easily served 4 people). They do not expect gratuity, but ask that if you do tip, to do so in cash. A nice meal with good ambiance and service, just a little bit pricey.

I picked Turkuaz to cater my Baby Shower. What I ordered: Eggplant Salad Hummus Shepard Salad Chicken Adana Kebab Barbecued Meatballs This catering came with a green salad (romaine lettuce), pita bread, grilled tomatoes, and rice. My guests were VERY happy. A handful of people came up to me just to ask me where I ordered cause the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable and the catering form was easy to work with. I worked with Deniz to organize this and she was very helpful in answering my questions and managing my order.

I've been in my Mediterranean/middle eastern food phase and I was trying to look for a spot in the location with my gf. I found this place and overall I loved it! For me, I got the red lentil soup and entree wise, barbecued lamb kofte. The lentil soup was very flavorful. It didn't have much in it other than the lentils which is good cause it really made me appreciate the lentils compared to a soup if it had other stuff in it like maybe vegetables and meats. The entree was really good! The lamb patties were juicy and tender. It wasn't rubbery meaning it wasn't overcooked but cooked to the way I liked it. I really liked the vegetables on the side as well. It was a very well balanced meal as how I expected it. The service was great, the server was kind and helpful in offering us recommendations. They were on top of the water as well (something not much restaurants do and take a while to fill your cup). The ambiance was very well presented and high end imo. It was not noisy so it was good to have conversations in. The place was very decorative in Turkish middle eastern style as expected. This place was amazing, the food was amazing and I can't recommend this place enough!

What an awesome dining experience at this spot. We dined in this Turkish family style restaurant In their private dining room downstairs which is basically a cave. Service was 10/10, food was great. And we were allowed to bring our own bottles of wines What I loved the most is how traditional and authentic everything here was, from the service to the location, to the waiters, everyone was Turkish. It felt like my friends and I were transported to dinner in turkey, yet we were still in NewYork. Food was great, service was exceptional and the group had a blast celebrating our dear friends birthday. We were all truly impressed.

Wow wow wow wow...Such a great appetizer ...Such a great food...Such a phenomenal service...Aishe was the queen of this perfection...We felt at home...Make sure you have cash with you to tip them. Unfortunately, we didnt have a cash and also by their law even they cant charge extra manually for the tip part. We walked a long distance to find a ATM to get a cash but it wasn't successful in the result. We were super happy and it was sad that we werent able to tip them. Aishe and team, you guys are the best...Definitely, im suggestung this place and also dont forget ro ask for Aishe. She'll help you to order the best food and appetizers.

This is probably my favorite place in town to have Turkish food - signature Turish plates, such as the eggplant or kebabs are very delicious and the whole restuarant, including the back room has a pretty and exotic ambiance.
